Positive Programming is his main objective until his release
Antwoine Bealer is a 49-year-old black male. He was sent to prison when he was 29 years old. His main objective is to program successfully. He wants to be involved in prison reform and counseling young people about the pit falls of going down the wrong path. He has taken counseling and drug classes from Adam State University, tried to start chess tournaments, started a group about positive relationships plus a group dealing with drugs abuse and use. He also tried to start a boxing program in HDSP. His education with Adams State University was interrupted when he was transferred to four different prisons within a five-month period.) He purchased books and donated to inmates concerning relationships and other positive topics. California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is supposed to be about corrections and rehabilitation. However, they are enabling things they are saying they are against. It appears to be more about power and control and not rehabilitation or corrections. It feels like they are acting more from a personal capacity than official. CDCR listed him as a gang member. This action alone raised his placement score and put him in a position of continually fighting with them to have this removed from his record. He has filed numerous 602's to this effect with no success. Although his probation report specially says, "the defendant is not a documented gang member", CDCR listed him as a gang member and placed him in Security Threat Group (gang). This action alone has interfered with his positive programming. Please come with him on his journey of injustice, heartache and blatant disregard for his safety and constitutional rights.
